mt warningBooking that very important Venue

In Australia very are very fortunate to have many beautiful venues to conduct ceremonies

Including:

  • Beaches
  • Parks
  • Rainforests
  • Mountains
  • Private function venues
  • Hot Air Ballons
  • Boats
  • Family homes or gardens
  • and many many more

It is important to consider certain things when booking and organising your venue.

  • Do you need to book the venue- Most parks, gardens, beaches and community areas will require you to book with the local council in those areas. This may or may not include a fee.
  • Does it have good access and parking- not all venues have sufficient parking for large groups
  • Sun and Wind- Because most venues are booked 6 months or more prior to a ceremony, we often overlook the weather situation in the season the marriage will be held.
  • Alternative venue- If you have chosen an outdoor ceremony, you my need to organise an alternative venue in case of bad weather,
  • Confetti or Rice- Many venues do not allow confetti or rice. It is important to check this and let your guests know.
  • Noise- Is the park right next to a sporting field that may be holding a grand final that day.
  • Tide times for the beach wedding
  • Water available if the day is very hot. Remember your guests will be there longer than you will
  • Seating for the elderly.

Considering some of these issues will make your day run much smoother. Lucille and Glenn are happy to advise potential venue problems to make your day stress free.
